Whenever I ended my prayers, I would always finish by saying:

"In Jesus' name, we pray, believe, and give thanks. Amen."

Over time, those words became more than something I said. They became something I lived by.

If I didn't believe, what was the point of praying?

If I didn't give thanks, was He not worthy of my gratitude?

If I didn't end in Amen, could God fulfill the prayer?

Eventually, it became clockwork.

For you who is reading this:

Pray.

When you pray, believe in what you're praying for. Believe that The Most High can do it for you.

When you pray, give thanks for all He has done. He is worthy of it.

Amen. Let it be so.
